The story of Raphael

One day I stumbled upon Raphael’s Social Media account and his features were very inviting to be painted. A few weeks later, my manifestation worked! I got accepted to Juntas hacemos más · Graffiti femenino in Mexico, the homeland of Raphael and all what he talks about in his videos!

Raphael and his twin brother were adopted as babies by white parents in the USA, where he spent his childhood and adolescence trying to fit in as a white kid. Growing up, he started to embrace his identity and roots that now he works as a full time content creator spreading awareness about his indigineous culture and helping others find their roots and embrace them as well

My insightful call with Raphael before the designing phase

Descending from Yoreme tribe, Raphael was given the name “Gouim Chaayeme” which translates to “The Howl of the Coyote” in Yoremnokki language,

where coyotes are considered sacred due to their role as tricksters, cultural heroes, and creators.
